Naples Big Band (formerly known as the Music Makers Show Band) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting music education in our local schools; we welcome your donations. Contact us about sponsoring a concert in your name or the name of your business!
Donations collected during intermission are used to offset the cost of stage rental and other band expenses, but the majority of funds are donated to our school music scholarship program. The more we collect, the bigger the scholarships!
The Naples Big Band is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization with a dual mission:
To promote, preserve, and perform American big band music of the mid-1900s
To financially support music education in area schools
Without committed sponsors, our mission will fail. Can you participate?
The Naples Big Band is comprised of 19 professional musicians under the skillful musical direction of James (Jim) Castaldi, seasoned trumpet and flugelhorn player.
In addition to admission-free concerts for the public, the band is also available to hire for private parties, fundraisers, festivals and special events of all types.
For booking information, please contact Amy Bright, vocalist and marketing manager, at 239-777-0416 or simply complete our handy online contact form.
The Naples Big Band performs concerts in Naples and Bonita Springs that are open to the public with no admission charge — just grab a folding chair and your cooler. All are welcome!
